Building a positive community

These guidelines help maintain the welcoming, supportive atmosphere that makes Swivvia special.

Posting guidelines

Do:

• Share genuine, original content

• Give credit when sharing others' work

• Use appropriate content warnings

• Engage constructively in discussions

• Support and uplift fellow community members

Don't:

• Post spam or repetitive content

• Share misleading information

• Use excessive profanity

• Post graphic violence without warning

• Engage in pile-ons or mob behavior

Interaction guidelines

Commenting

• Stay on topic

• Be constructive, even in disagreement

• Don't derail conversations

• Respect the original poster's intent

Messaging

• Respect boundaries

• Don't send unsolicited promotional content

• Stop messaging if asked

• Report harassment immediately

Community spaces

Groups and communities

• Follow each community's specific rules

• Respect moderator decisions

• Contribute meaningfully

• Don't cross-post the same content everywhere

Events

• RSVP honestly

• Be respectful at virtual and in-person events

• Follow event organizer guidelines

Consequences

Breaking these guidelines may result in:

1. Content removal

2. Warning

3. Temporary mute

4. Account restriction

5. Suspension
