How to Post

Creating a post

From the web:

1. Click the "Create Post" button in the top navigation

2. Write your text (up to 500 characters)

3. Add media if desired (photos, videos, GIFs)

4. Choose your audience (Public, Friends, or Custom)

5. Click "Post"

From mobile:

1. Tap the "+" button at the bottom of the screen

2. Write your post

3. Add photos or videos from your camera or gallery

4. Set audience preferences

5. Tap "Share"

Post types

Text posts

• Up to 500 characters

• Support mentions (@username) and hashtags (#topic)

• Can include links with auto-preview

Photo posts

• Up to 10 photos per post

• Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP

• Maximum file size: 15MB per photo

Video posts

• Up to 3 minutes long

• Supported formats: MP4, MOV

• Maximum file size: 500MB

• Auto-plays in feed (muted)

Reels

• Short-form video content (15-60 seconds)

• Full-screen vertical format

• Add music, effects, and text overlays

Audience settings

• Public — Anyone can see your post

• Friends — Only your connections can see it

• Custom — Choose specific people or groups

Editing and deleting posts

• Tap the three dots (...) on any of your posts

• Select "Edit" to modify text (within 24 hours)

• Select "Delete" to permanently remove the post
