Managing your notifications

Types of notifications

• Activity — Likes, comments, reposts on your content

• Connections — New connection requests and acceptances

• Messages — Direct message alerts

• Mentions — When someone tags you in a post

• System — Account alerts and platform updates

Adjusting notification settings

On web:

1. Click your profile picture

2. Go to Settings > Notifications

3. Toggle each notification type on or off

On mobile:

1. Tap your profile picture

2. Go to Settings > Notifications

3. Customize by category

Email notifications

• Digest emails: daily or weekly summary

• Unsubscribe from any email type individually

• Always receive critical security alerts

Push notifications (mobile)

• Allow or deny in your device settings

• Quiet hours: set times when notifications are silenced

• Priority notifications: choose which bypass quiet hours
